The Global China Fellows Program is a fully supported fellowship at Boston University in the United States, established by the Global China Initiative (GCI). This program, which is open to applicants worldwide, focuses on policy-oriented research and examines China’s influence on international affairs. Researchers from Boston University will work with fellows. The program’s principal objective is to cultivate the next wave of intellectual leaders who can add to the body of knowledge regarding China’s international economic involvements and activities. Eligibility Criteria:
- Not limited by location and open to applications from any nation.
- Must be able to travel in person to the United States.
- qualified to acquire a J-1 visa.
- The dissertation proposal defense and passing of the qualifying exams are prerequisites for predoctoral applicants.
- By August 2025, post-doctoral candidates must have successfully defended their dissertations.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in conducting research on China’s foreign economic endeavors and its interactions with international organizations.
