Taiwan International Graduate Program TIGP Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)

International students can now apply for the 2025 Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) Scholarship. This completely financed fellowship supports PhD programs provided by Taiwanese universities in a variety of subjects, such as molecular biology, molecular sciences, chemical biology, bioinformatics, molecular sciences, earth sciences, biodiversity, and nanotechnology. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Academic Requirements: Candidates must be graduates of an approved university with a bachelor’s degree and, if applicable, a master’s degree.
  • English Proficiency: Because the TIGP is administered in English, candidates whose native tongue is not English must prove their ability to communicate in English using one of the following standardised tests:
  • The TOEFL, an online exam: A minimum of 79 on the paper-based TOEFL exam A TOEIC score of at least 550.5 785 on the GEPT is the minimum required (for local applicants only): Upper Intermediate Degree
  • Absences from the English Language Proficiency Requirements: English proficiency exam results may not be required for applicants from English-speaking nations or for those who have finished their degrees exclusively in English (evidence of completion is needed).
