Students from underdeveloped nations have the coveted chance to study for a Master’s degree at the University of East Anglia (UEA) thanks to the David Sainsbury Scholarship. This scholarship grants a living stipend of £19,237 for 2025, full tuition costs (£35,450), plus an extra £4,000 for travel expenses.
A fully financed one-year MSc program at UEA is supported by the scholarship, which was started by the David Sainsbury Laboratory. The program offers a special and original curriculum created especially for this course by combining five taught modules with a five-month research project.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Hold a UEA MSc in Global Plant Health admissions offer.
- not be a resident of or a citizen of a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income nation or territory as defined by the 2024–25 cycle of the Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) Development Assistance Committee (DAC), effective for the 2025–2026 school year.
- Early application is highly encouraged because scholarships are limited and will be given out on a rolling basis throughout the year.
