UNESCO Great Wall China Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded

The 2025 UNESCO Great Wall China Scholarship is now accepting applications from eligible overseas applicants. Tuition, housing, health insurance, travel, visa fees, and a living stipend of ¥42,000 are all fully funded by this esteemed fellowship.

There are 75 fully financed scholarships available for postgraduate study and research in China through the UNESCO/China Great Wall Co-Sponsored Fellowships Program for 2025–2026. The program, which was created especially for researchers and students from 135 poor nations, covers tuition, housing, and a monthly stipend for those who are accepted.

Eligibility Criteria :

Qualifications Requirements: Fulfill the program’s academic, linguistic, and age requirements.

Programs for Visiting Scholars:

  • General Scholars: a high school degree and a maximum age of forty-five.
  • Senior Scholars: at least 50 years old, with a master’s degree or an associate professorship (or above).
  • Programs for Master’s Degrees: Bachelor’s degree; age limit of 35.
  • Programs for Doctoral Degrees: Master’s degree; 40 years of age maximum.

Proficiency in Language:

  • All programs require proficiency in English.
  • For programs taught in Chinese:
  • Visiting Scholars (General or Senior): HSK Level 3.
  • Master’s/Doctoral Degrees: HSK Level 4.

Additional Requirements:

  • Meet the admission standards of the applied university (academic ability, language skills, etc.).
  • Be in good mental and physical health.
