Launched with tremendous success in 2017, the MINDS Scholarship Program for Leadership Development in Africa aims to develop young leaders who have a pan-African outlook, promoting increased cooperation and collaboration among African countries. African students who want to study postgraduate degrees outside of their native countries but inside Africa can apply for scholarships through this initiative.
The MINDS Scholarship Programme seeks to develop leaders with a vision for the development of the entire continent of Africa by means of targeted leadership development programs, thus fostering greater unity and collaboration among African nations.
In order to be eligible for a MINDS Scholarship, candidates must be admitted into one of the recognized universities. The scholarship is completely supported; it provides a monthly stipend for living expenses in addition to covering tuition, lodging, and flights.

Eligibility Criteria:
- must be an African citizen and be living in any African nation at the moment.
- Must have been officially accepted by one or more MINDS-selected colleges, either abroad or at your place of residence.
- Must have been granted admission to a MINDS-selected postgraduate program for the following academic year.
- must have finished their studies in the last two years with a minimum grade of 70% in each topic or course.
- Must present proof of leadership potential or ability, as specified by the requirements and questions on the application form.
- must submit an entirely filled-out online application form and any required supporting files.
Benefits:
- Tuition: The scholarship may pay for the complete postgraduate program’s tuition, allowing scholars to concentrate on their studies without having to worry about money. A portion of the tuition costs will be paid in the event of a partial scholarship.
- Housing and food: Throughout the study term, the scholarship may cover all or a portion of the cost of housing and food. This guarantees that during their time of study, scholars will live in a secure and comfortable atmosphere.
- Return Flight: The scholarship covers the price of one round-trip ticket, enabling the recipients to go to and from their place of study. For the duration of the program, this will be covered once, in full or in part.
- Fixed Stipend: Living expenditures including daily transportation, personal supplies, and other incidentals are covered by a fixed stipend. Depending on whether the scholar receives a full or partial scholarship, the stipend’s size and scope will vary.
