Graduate scholarships from Khalifa University offer substantial financial assistance for postgraduate studies, paying for tuition and providing a competitive monthly stipend. Full tuition, books, medical insurance, travel, visa costs, and a substantial living allowance of 40,000 AED ($10,890) are all covered by these scholarships.
International students seeking master’s and doctoral degrees are welcome at Khalifa University. A separate scholarship application is not necessary because scholarship eligibility is assessed automatically throughout the admissions process. Please be aware that there are only a certain amount of scholarships available.
Eligibility Criteria :
Academic Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a respectable, authorized university with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.0 (or above) is required for direct admission to the PhD program.
- OR a Master’s degree from a respectable, authorized university in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.0 (or its equivalent).
Proficiency in English:
- 91 on the iBT TOEFL (or its equivalent).
- OR an overall IELTS score of 6.5 in academics.
- or a 1550 on the EmSAT for English.
GRE Conditions:
- The general GRE requires a minimum quantitative score of 150.
- Candidates must take the GRE in all three areas.
- Suggestions:
- a minimum of two recommendations from referees (filed online).
Submissions in writing:
- Purpose statement (500–1,000 words).
- Statement of research (500–1,000 words).
Interview:
- completing an admissions interview successfully.
