The goal of the Hornby Trust Scholarship is to improve English language instruction in low- and middle-income nations.Full tuition fees, a substantial stipend of at least £15,500 for living expenses and housing, and return overseas travel expenses are all covered by the University of Exeter Hornby Trust Scholarship. Students who fulfill the requirements for admission to the University of Exeter’s MEd TESOL Programme, which begins in September 2025, can apply for up to ten fully funded scholarships. Teachers and associated professionals with relevant experience and proven potential to enhance and progress English language instruction and learning in their home country are eligible to apply for these Master’s degree scholarships from the University of Exeter.
Eligibility Criteria :
- living in and work in a nation classified as low- or middle-income by the OECD DAC list.
- After receiving your first degree, you should have at least three years of full-time TESOL teaching experience or a similar professional background.
- possess a relevant postgraduate degree or an undergraduate degree with grades equal to or higher than upper second-class honors in the UK.
- To obtain an Exeter student number, you must first complete a typical postgraduate application to the University of Exeter for the MEd TESOL program. After your Exeter application is received, you will receive this number. After that, you can submit an application for the Hornby Scholarship by mentioning this number.
