A fully paid fellowship is available for young leaders to improve their professional abilities and network with specialists from around the world through the European University Institute (EUI) Leadership Program 2025 in Florence, Italy. Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility: Available to citizens of all nations.
- Young professionals in mid-career positions in the media, public service, politics, or non-governmental organizations are the target audience.
- Experience Requirement: At least ten years of work experience with a track record of making significant contributions to the policy field.
- Interest in Policy: Candidates must genuinely care about policy matters, especially those pertaining to global governance.
- Self-Motivation: Fellows must be self-motivated and dedicated to finishing the tasks listed in the work plan for their STG fellowship.
- Residency Requirement: In order to fully engage in EUI/STG activities, fellows must live close to Florence during the fellowship.
- On-Site Participation: Attendance in person is required for the fellowship; it cannot be completed online.
Benefits:
- Monthly Stipend: A stipend of €2,500 will be given to each fellow.
- Housekeeping Allowance: An extra €300 will be given each month to cover housekeeping costs.
- Child Allowance: For each dependent child, fellows will receive €200 per month.
- Travel Reimbursement: For both inbound and outbound journeys, economy-class airfare will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €1,200.
- Cultural Exposure: Fellows will have the chance to travel around Europe, with a particular emphasis on Italy’s rich cultural heritage.
- Program Activities: Participation in a variety of activities, including brief trips outside of Florence, Italy, is part of the fellowship.
