The goal of the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is to encourage students to pursue higher education by reducing the financial burden that faces both domestic and international applicants. The UTS 2025 program is looking for exceptional, driven people to become a part of the University of Twente’s global community and help improve the world.
The goal of this master’s program in the Netherlands is to cultivate future world leaders. Recipients will experience Europe’s rich cultural diversity and obtain an education from one of the best universities in the Netherlands, in addition to receiving a tuition waiver. The University of Twente will give foreign students about 50 scholarships in 2025.
The University of Twente, a research-intensive university, gives students the opportunity to work in cutting-edge labs in areas including biomedical technology, governance, information technology, and several engineering specialties. For a single year, the scholarship offers support of between €3,000 and €22,000; if the master’s program lasts two years, the same amount is awarded for the second year. Three honors paths are also available at UTS 2025–2026: leadership, design, and research.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applying for the University of Twente scholarships requires that candidates have finished a bachelor’s degree.
- After the third quartile of their first year, a minimum average grade of 7 out of 10 is needed.
- To satisfy the requirements, they must retain at least 50% of their European credits.
- Candidates must possess a conditional acceptance letter from the University of Twente for a master’s program beginning in September of the 2025–2026 academic year.
- A working student number is necessary.
- A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 90 or an IELTS score of 6.5 is required for English competence.
- Candidates should rank in the top 5–10% of their academic class.
- They cannot get a study loan from the Netherlands.
- Candidates must fulfill the requirements unique to the program.
- They can’t have earned a degree from the University of Twente before.
- In order to receive an entry visa for the Netherlands, if necessary, applicants must meet the requirements.
