Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship: A citizen of a nation other than China is required.
- Personal and Academic Attributes: Exhibit moral rectitude and academic prowess.
- General academics must be under 45 years old.
- For senior scholars, under 50 years.
- Enrolment Status: Attend a CSC partner university full-time as a student or member of the academic staff.
- Obtain an invitation letter or admission notice from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) in order to be admitted.
Benefits:
- whole Tuition Waiver: Selected students will not be required to pay any tuition fees for their studies at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) because the scholarship covers the whole cost of tuition.
- Free On-Campus Housing: Recipients will not have to pay for housing throughout their time in China because they will be provided with free on-campus accommodations at BLCU.
- A monthly stipend of CNY 3,000 will be provided to general scholars to assist with living expenses.
- Senior scholars will get CNY 3,500 per month, which is a larger stipend.
- Complete Medical Insurance: During the course of the program, the scholarship offers complete medical insurance coverage, protecting students in the event of illness or injury while they are studying in China.
