The Irish Government GOIIES Scholarships 2025–2026 are now accepting applications. The Government of Ireland provides funding for these scholarships, which are open to international students worldwide. The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships program will offer 60 scholarships in total for the 2025–2026 academic year. Scholars in a variety of fields are supported by this special initiative, which also offers full assistance for their studies overseas.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Students from non-EU/EEA nations are welcome.
- Students are required to start classes in September or October of 2024.
- Only PhD recipients are eligible for later enrollment under certain restrictions.
- Candidates must exhibit outstanding academic achievement.
- Strong communication abilities are necessary, including fluency in the language and clear expression.
Benefits:
- A stipend of €18,500 will be given to recipients annually to help with living expenses while they are enrolled in classes.
- Scholarship recipients will receive a full waiver of tuition and all other registration expenses at the higher education institution.
- The following academic paths are eligible to get the scholarship:
- the last year of an undergraduate program, offering both academic and financial assistance to finish their studies.
- One year of a master’s degree program that allows students to focus on their chosen field of study.
- A year-long study program that can be used for:
- the first year of a two-year master’s program in research.
- Any one year during a PhD program that lasts three to four years, giving you choice in how you use it for more complex research projects.
