United Nations Fellowship Program 2025 | Fully Funded

The United Nations Office of Legal Affairs’ Codification Division, in partnership with the African Union, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), hosts the United Nations Fellowship Program.

The curriculum covers a wide variety of fundamental issues in international law and provides top-notch instruction from renowned scholars and practitioners of the field. Participants are encouraged to share thoughts and experiences through its interactive approach, which promotes improved comprehension and collaboration on current events

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Candidates must possess a professional background in international law and a legal education.
  • It is required that students be proficient in the language of teaching (English for the 2025 Course).
  • Candidates that are chosen must attest to their capacity to attend the entire course.
  • There can be no more than 20 people enrolled in the Regional Course.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French is required for the 2025 Fellowship Program, as the course will be taught in French.

  • Self-Funded Individuals:
  • Self-funded participants can only reserve a certain number of spots.
  • Self-funded participants are in charge of covering all related expenditures, such as travel, health insurance, lodging, and living expenses, with the exception of training materials.
  • Renowned academics and professionals offer top-notch instruction in the Regional Courses, which cover both regionally specialized issues and a wide variety of fundamental international law themes.
