With awards totaling €8,400 annually, the scholarship assists with living and educational costs. Applications are being accepted from citizens of 39 qualifying countries to take advantage of this scholarship opportunity for their studies in Latvia.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Prior to applying for the scholarship, candidates must choose a course of study at a higher education institution (HEI) in Latvia.
- Prior to submitting the scholarship application, a confirmation letter from the selected Latvian HEI is necessary.
- Before applying, current students at a Latvian HEI must additionally get a confirmation letter for their chosen or ongoing study program.
- The designated contact person at the Latvian HEI is required to issue the confirmation letter.
- The Latvian state scholarship is available to international students for a maximum of two terms while they are enrolled in classes.

Benefits :
- Bachelor’s degree students and second-level professional higher education students (first, second, and third study years) pay €500 a month.
- For Master’s and second-level professional higher education students (beginning in the fourth academic year), the monthly cost is €600.
