The Helmut Veith Scholarship 2025-2026 in Austria is currently accepting applications from female students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Europe. This fully funded scholarship at TU Wien supports exceptional female students who are enrolled in an English-taught master’s program in computer science for the winter semester 2025/2026, summer semester 2026, or winter semester 2026/2027. The scholarship honors the late computer scientist Helmut Veith and promotes gender equality in technology; it is given annually to women who have strong academic backgrounds and expertise in fields related to his work. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of EUR 7,000.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Exclusively for female pupils.
- In order to be admitted to one of TU Wien’s master’s programs offered in English during the 2025–2026 academic year, applicants must meet certain requirements.
- Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, Media and Human-Centered Computing, Software Engineering and Internet Computing, and Logic and Computation are among the master’s programs that qualify.
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
- Candidates should have a solid background in mathematics and technology and be interested in at least one of the following fields of research at Helmut Veith: Computer Security, Formal Methods and Verification, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms and Complexity Theory, or Logic in Computer Science.
- It is necessary to speak English.
