An annual $500 scholarship, technical interview preparation, networking opportunities with Black tech professionals, and the opportunity to attend a tech conference are all part of the Sankofatech Achievers in Technology (AIT) Program 2025, a four-year initiative that aims to develop the next generation of Black technology leaders in the United States by supporting African and Black students by offering mentorship, skill development, and access to industry professionals while helping them overcome obstacles like limited resources and lack of exposure to tech careers.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Students of African descent are welcome.
- must be starting their first year of study in 2024–2025 at a college or institution in the United States.
- strong desire to work in data science or software engineering.
- must be from a household with a low income.
- Exhibit excellent time management abilities, a love of learning, and a dedication to achievement.
