Thailand’s 19th SANDEE Summer School 2025, a fully sponsored program held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) from April 30 to May 15, 2025, is currently accepting applications. Junior and mid-career faculty researchers, as well as Master’s and PhD candidates, are welcome to attend this 16-day summer course. IELTS is not necessary, and there is no application fee. Full attendance is required of participants, who must arrive on April 29 and depart on May 16, 2025. In addition to studying economic development, poverty, biodiversity, and energy, the program focuses on environmental and natural resource economics research.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates that live and work in the HKH/South Asia region are eligible.
- Master’s degree holders with a few years of work experience are eligible.
- Applications from PhD candidates are also encouraged.
- The Hindu Kush Himalaya is referred to as the HKH area.
- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are all in South Asia.
- Eligible applicants are individuals who are from outside the HKH/South Asia region or who are from the region but reside abroad.
