Eligibility Criteria:
- Non-Japanese Nationality: Candidates cannot be nationals of Japan.
- Doctorate Degree Requirement: At the time of application, the candidate must hold a Ph.D.
- Candidates must be born in or after 1980 and be 45 years of age or younger.
- Language Proficiency: Either Japanese or English proficiency is required.
- Acceptance by the Host Institution: Prior to application, candidates must obtain acceptance from a Japanese host institution.
