Applications for the Mandela Rhodes Foundation Scholarships for the 2025 intake are open to South African citizens. For the 2025–2026 academic year, this fully financed scholarship helps African students who want to pursue a two-year Master’s degree or a one-year Honors degree at an accredited African university.
The renowned postgraduate program known as the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship was founded in 2003 and is named after two significant South African historical figures: Cecil Rhodes and Nelson Mandela. The program’s mission is to foster outstanding academic achievement and leadership throughout the continent. More than 300 young African scholars and leaders have benefited from it thus far.

Eligibility Criteria:
- A citizen of an African nation is required.
- The minimum age limit is between 19 and 30.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or a comparable credential and demonstrate excellent academic standing.
- Demonstrate your leadership abilities by getting involved in your neighborhood, workplace, institution, or school.
- Show your dedication to promoting entrepreneurship, education, and reconciliation in your community.
