UNESCO World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2025 Paris (Fully Funded)

The UNESCO World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2025, which will be held in Paris, France, is currently accepting applications. This esteemed forum will take place at the UNESCO Headquarters from July 1–8, 2025, in conjunction with the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee.

The event brings together enthusiastic and driven young professionals from around the globe to discuss methods to protect the natural and cultural legacy of the world. No application fee is required, and UNESCO will pay for all expenses, including round-trip international airfare, lodging, daily meals, visa fees, and local transportation in Paris.

Enhancing the skills and expertise of upcoming young leaders in the field of heritage management and protection is the forum’s primary goal. It will concentrate on the efficient use of cutting-edge technology to protect and promote both material and immaterial heritage. In order to promote international communication and the sharing of best practices, participants will take part in interactive workshops, site visits, expert debates, and cooperative projects.

About 25 exceptional young professionals from a variety of backgrounds will be chosen by UNESCO, providing them with a special chance to advance their careers, widen their global network, and make a significant contribution to heritage conservation initiatives across the globe.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligibility by Nationality: Candidates from any nation may apply.
  • Candidates must be born between June 30, 1993, and June 30, 2002, inclusive, and be between the ages of 23 and 32.
  • Experience or education in subjects like architecture, archaeology, conservation, restoration, urban planning, art history, or other heritage-related fields is required.
  • Digital Competence: Knowledge of or practical expertise with World Heritage-related digital technology is necessary.
  • Strong Motivation: Candidates should exhibit a definite desire to use the information and conclusions gained from the Forum back home.
  • Community Focus: It is crucial to be committed to encouraging and strengthening community involvement in the administration of World Heritage sites.
  • Full Participation: Applicants must be able to stay for the forum’s whole duration.
  • Language Skills: Since English and/or French are the forum’s working languages, proficiency in these languages is required.
