Both domestic and foreign students can apply for the coveted, fully funded Simmons University Kotzen Scholarship 2025–2026. This award gives applicants complete financial support for their undergraduate studies by covering room and board, required fees (but not health insurance), and full tuition for four years.
Candidates must be first-year students with a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.50 who are applying for the autumn semester. One should have a history of advanced coursework, including International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), or honors classes. Although standardized test results are not required, successful applicants usually have an ACT score of at least 28 or an SAT score of at least 1300. Tests such as the TOEFL or IELTS are required for non-native English speakers to prove their English ability.
A formal essay (300–500 words) outlining the applicant’s leadership style and experiences must be submitted as part of the application process, along with a CV that highlights the applicant’s extracurricular activities and academic accomplishments. Please send these files to [email protected] in Word or PDF format with the subject “Simmons Distinguished Scholar Award application.” The applicant’s entire name and birthdate must appear on every page. Submissions must be made by December 1, 2025.
In February, finalists will receive an invitation to an interview, which may be done over Skype for candidates from abroad.
