Redefining diplomacy in the digital era is a worldwide conversation that the Canada International Forum on Digital Soft Power seeks to influence.
The forum, which is organized by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD) in collaboration with regional and global partners, brings together researchers, cultural leaders, policymakers, and digital strategists to examine the changing interplay between technology, culture, and diplomacy.
The event, which has as its theme “Digital Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy in the Age of Algorithms,” is a high-level, multidisciplinary forum that discusses the geopolitical, strategic, and ethical facets of digital influence.
There are fully funded scholarships available, which include access to the forum, lodging, food, and flights. The occasion promotes international cooperation and looks for creative ways to advance intercultural comprehension and a more inclusive global conversation.
Eligibility Criteria :
- You have to be at least eighteen.
- International relations, communication, cultural studies, diplomacy, technology, social sciences, media, the arts, or similar subjects should be their areas of study or employment.
- We strongly welcome anyone with knowledge of or interest in public diplomacy, internet platforms, or cross-cultural projects.
- Possessing conversational English communication skills is essential.
- uld exhibit a proven interest in global communication, soft power, digital diplomacy, or cultural exchange.
- The application must include a succinct motivational statement.
- Candidates must to be open to sharing their experiences and using the knowledge gained from the forum in their communities or at work.
- It is advantageous to take part in forums, cultural projects, IT initiatives, or volunteer work.
- Additionally appreciated is prior experience with digital storytelling, public advocacy, or social media initiatives.
