The IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025 in the USA is now accepting applications. This three-month fellowship is fully financed and can be finished remotely or in Washington, DC. However, from September 1 to September 12, 2025, all chosen fellows must take part in a two-week in-person residency in Washington, DC. Following the residency, participants have the option of finishing the remaining coursework electronically or on-site in Washington, DC. The entire fellowship period is September 1, 2025, to November 21, 2025.
Through the initiative, people from a variety of backgrounds can work with subject-matter experts to design and cooperate on AI policy projects. The objective is to develop workable, efficient policies that tackle artificial intelligence’s advantages and disadvantages. Fellows will get a solid foundation and track record in AI policy as a result of this experience.

Objective of the Fellowship:

- Applications are accepted from people all over the world.
- AI technical expertise is not necessary.
- Anyone can participate in the fellowship remotely from anywhere in the world.
- Applicants must have valid work authorization in the United States in order to participate in person for the entire three-month period in Washington, DC.
- Relevant experience and knowledge in the applicant’s field or area of interest are the basis for selection.
Benefits:
- Senior Fellows will get a $22,000 stipend.
- Junior Fellows will get a $15,000 stipend.
