The Internet Society Peering Fellowship 2025, a fully funded international opportunity for young, driven people with the know-how to improve internet access, is currently accepting applications. Selected fellows must visit one of the three locations—Manila, Philippines; San Salvador, El Salvador; or Lagos, Nigeria—where the fellowship will be held.
The fellowship’s objective is to bring together leaders who can enhance local internet interconnection infrastructure and increase internet accessibility, affordability, and dependability. During peering events, fellows will have the opportunity to take full advantage of chances to expand the internet and promote community development.
Selected participants will fly to their designated site to participate in the program, which will run for six months. More information is provided below.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants who live or are based in Africa, Asia-Pacific (APAC), or Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) are eligible for the fellowship.
- To be eligible to travel abroad throughout the program, applicants must have a passport that is valid until at least June 2026.
- It is necessary to have at least three years of professional experience in the internet sector, showcasing knowledge of internet technology, infrastructure, and issues pertaining to the sector.
- In order to collaborate and take part in the fellowship’s activities, applicants must have dependable access to a steady internet connection.

- Free accommodation: To guarantee that brothers have a comfortable stay during the event, all lodging costs will be paid.
