JASS Global Movement Builders School 2025 in South Africa is accepting applications.
The fully funded JASS Global Movement Builders School 2025, presented by Just Associates (JASS), is currently accepting applications. Applications from all over the world are welcome for this international summer program, which will be held in South Africa from October 30 to November 2, 2025.
The four-day event, which aims to bring together changemakers from all over the world, welcomes activists, organizers, advocates, educators, artivists, and social justice leaders who are working on today’s pressing global issues. Collective learning, strategic thinking, and cooperative visioning for long-lasting transformation will all be activities for participants.
For a limited number of participants, JASS will pay for all foreign airfare, transportation expenses, lodging, and meals.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates from all over the world are welcome.
- a minimum of five years’ experience in social change advocacy or organization.
- must be in a leadership position in a community group, network, or organization dedicated to social change.
- shown a want to participate and learn about a variety of topics, places, and identities.
- a strong dedication to social change based on decolonial, feminist, and liberatory principles.
- interest in approaching social justice activities from an ecosystem-based and movement-oriented perspective.
- Willingness to learn more about power, especially communal empowerment and systemic issues.
- willingness to engage in cross-movement cooperation and reconsider tactics.
- a definite plan to incorporate knowledge and understanding gained from the training into their continued social change initiatives.
Benefits:
- Round-Trip Airfare: All chosen participants will get full coverage for their international airfare to and from South Africa, including any required transit fees.
- Accommodations: During the entire 4-day program (October 30–November 2, 2025), including check-in and check-out days, cozy accommodations will be offered.
- Meals: Taking into account dietary requirements and restrictions, all meals—breakfast, lunch, supper, and refreshments—will be served during the program.
- Program Fees: Attending the program is free of charge. JASS (Just Associates) will pay for all training sessions, materials, and participation costs.
