The Saudi Arabian KAPSARC Postdoctoral Program 2025–2026 is now accepting applications.
Early-career researchers from all over the world are invited to participate in cutting-edge, highly impactful research at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) through this fully sponsored opportunity.
Postdoctoral researchers with expertise in Energy Economics, Policy, and Ecosystem Sustainability are the target audience for this program. All costs are paid, and there is no application fee.
Additionally, the KAPSARC Graduate Development Program is open to applicants with bachelor’s and master’s degrees who wish to work at KAPSARC.

Eligibility Criteria :
- Nationality-based eligibility: All applications are welcome.
- Ph.D. requirement: Must have recently obtained or be almost finished with a Ph.D. in an environmental science, engineering, sustainability, public policy, energy economics, or a related topic.
- Strong knowledge of at least one fundamental KAPSARC research topic, such as economics, energy policy, oil and gas markets, renewable energy, transportation, climate change, or sustainability
- Research capability: Demonstrated capacity to carry out independent studies utilizing mixed, quantitative, or qualitative methodologies; knowledge of pertinent software tools and databases
- Communication abilities: Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities, as well as the capacity to work well in a group setting
