The Lateef Jakande Fellowship Program 2025, which is aimed at recent Nigerian graduates, is now accepting applications.
For young Nigerians who want to change their generation, this fully financed, one-year program provides leadership and job opportunities that are transformative, nonpartisan, and merit-based.
Fellows will take part in domestic and international policy travels, participate in roundtable talks with prominent public and private sector officials, and obtain personal experience with state-level governance procedures. The Lateef Jakande Fellowship Program was started by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu with the goal of developing the next generation of leaders.
Eligibility Criteria :
- A Nigerian citizen is required.
- At least three years of experience in a professional setting is required.
- You have to be younger than 35.
- must possess a bachelor’s degree or above.
- NYSC must be completed or a NYSC exemption letter must be in possession.

Benefits :
- Work Experience: Six months into the program, fellows will begin rotating to shadow members of the Lagos State Cabinet.
- Brown-Bag Series, Fireside Chats, Leadership Seminars, Personalized Coaching, and ongoing multi-source feedback are all examples of leadership development.
