Lagos State Lateef Jakande Fellowship Program 2025 | Fully Funded

The Lateef Jakande Fellowship Program 2025, which is aimed at recent Nigerian graduates, is now accepting applications.

For young Nigerians who want to change their generation, this fully financed, one-year program provides leadership and job opportunities that are transformative, nonpartisan, and merit-based.

Fellows will take part in domestic and international policy travels, participate in roundtable talks with prominent public and private sector officials, and obtain personal experience with state-level governance procedures. The Lateef Jakande Fellowship Program was started by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu with the goal of developing the next generation of leaders.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • A Nigerian citizen is required.
  • At least three years of experience in a professional setting is required.
  • You have to be younger than 35.
  • must possess a bachelor’s degree or above.
  • NYSC must be completed or a NYSC exemption letter must be in possession.

Benefits :

  • Work Experience: Six months into the program, fellows will begin rotating to shadow members of the Lagos State Cabinet.
  • Brown-Bag Series, Fireside Chats, Leadership Seminars, Personalized Coaching, and ongoing multi-source feedback are all examples of leadership development.
  • Community service: In order to better the lives of Lagosians, fellows will plan and carry out a revolutionary, high-impact community initiative in less than a year.
