The Nairobi Summer School 2025, which will take place in Ethiopia, is currently accepting applications. The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ), a project of the Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), is in charge of organizing this fully financed international event. From August 17 to August 30, 2025, Addis Ababa University will host the next edition, which will provide attendees with a two-week immersion experience centered upon sustainability, climate justice, and community-driven solutions.
Young leaders, activists, scholars, and professionals who are enthusiastic about combating climate change and advancing environmental justice in their communities are welcome to apply to the program from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas. Participants will participate in workshops, talks, and hands-on fieldwork conducted by climate experts over the course of 14 days, offering both global and local views.
Proof of English competence, such as an IELTS score, is not necessary, and there is no application cost. Travel, lodging, meals, and program materials will all be paid for, making this a genuinely inclusive and accessible opportunity for aspiring changemakers. The Nairobi Summer School provides an exciting opportunity to increase your knowledge, build your network, and take action on climate issues, regardless of your level of experience or desire to get started.
