Japan’s Fully Funded Tokyo City University (TCU) Scholarship 2026
Applications are being accepted for the Tokyo City University (TCU) Scholarship 2026 by the Gotoh Educational Corporation Tokyu Group in Japan. This esteemed scholarship provides a fully funded opportunity that includes housing for chosen applicants, a monthly stipend of ¥1 million, and complete tuition expenses.
Tokyo City University is glad to extend this scholarship to international students who are privately sponsored and enrolled in a master’s program with the goal of pursuing a doctorate.
The ultimate goal is to develop future world leaders who will act as links between TCU and their home nations and institutions and play creative roles in global society through their research and achievements at TCU.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must have finished a minimum of 16 years of formal schooling in their nation of origin.
- must have exceptional intellectual and personal qualities, have the capacity to significantly advance research, and aid in the university’s globalization.
- Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last two years in order to be eligible for the award.
- must have graduated from a university that is among the top 10% of educational institutions in their nation with academic performance ranked in the top 10%.
- It is necessary to submit a letter of recommendation from the president of the university where the aforementioned academic achievement was made.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a master’s degree with plans to go on to the TCU Graduate School for a doctorate course.

- Scholarship Amount: After arriving in Japan, recipients will receive a yearly payment of one million Japanese yen.
