TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship 2025 Pakistan (Fully Funded)

The TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2025 is being offered by the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in collaboration with the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi, Pakistan. The goal of this completely financed program is to assist young scientists from poor nations who wish to pursue doctoral-level studies in the biological and chemical sciences. Acknowledged for its superior research and training, ICCBS offers a vibrant setting with access to state-of-the-art labs, knowledgeable faculty, and chances for global cooperation.

Because of the fellowship’s “sandwich model,” candidates can continue to be enrolled in the PhD program at their home university while carrying out a sizable amount of their research at ICCBS. This arrangement encourages cooperation between ICCBS and the fellow’s home institution in addition to maintaining academic continuity. Organic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacology, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry are among the research areas that are covered by this curriculum.

Full financial support, covering tuition, living expenses, and travel, will be provided to selected fellows. Along with having access to state-of-the-art facilities, fellows will interact with professionals from around the world, take part in academic workshops, and hone research abilities that are essential for promoting innovation and scientific progress back home. The program demonstrates a strong dedication to enhancing scientific leadership and research capability in the Global South.
