The UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship 2025 in Poland is currently accepting applications.

UNESCO and the Polish government jointly fund and support this esteemed fellowship, hence the name “co-sponsored.” It provides a six-month research opportunity at one of Poland’s top universities, the AGH University of Kraków.

As of October 1, 2025, the fellowship will end on March 31, 2026. There is no application fee, and UNESCO will choose 28 fellows from throughout the globe.

The program’s goal is to give participants the opportunity to carry out cutting-edge scientific, technological, and engineering research in a vibrant academic setting.

Those pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree are eligible to apply for the fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to nationals of qualifying nations (see the above list).
  • Candidates must be 32 years of age or younger when they apply.
  • To fully comprehend the eligibility requirements and study topics, candidates should carefully read Annex I (Terms and Conditions) and Annex IV (List of Study Fields/Projects).
  • The fellowship can last no more than six months.
