The United Nations Nippon Foundation Fellowship 2026 is currently accepting applications. There are two stages to this nine-month fellowship, which is completely financed.
During Phase One, fellows will work for three months at the United Nations Headquarters in New York at the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS).
Six months of advanced academic research and study at one of the esteemed host universities in Europe, the USA, Asia, Australia, Canada, or other nations make up Phase Two.
Providing advanced training in ocean affairs and the law of the sea to professionals from poor nations who work in these fields and related fields is the aim of the 2026 UNNF Fellowship.
