Published:

The renowned Spärck AI Scholarships, a fully financed master’s program intended to cultivate future leaders in artificial intelligence, are currently accepting applications from the University of Bristol, which was recently named AI University of the Year.

The scholarships provide 100 fully paid spots at nine prestigious UK universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, and Bristol. They are funded by the UK government through a £17.2 million project. Both UK and international students are eligible for the award, which covers all living expenses and tuition costs. Applicants from underrepresented and low-income backgrounds are given preference.

This award, named for the groundbreaking computer scientist Karen Spärck Jones, is to develop an inclusive, top-tier AI talent pipeline. Cutting-edge research, practical industry experience, and guidance from academic and business experts will all be advantageous to scholars.

Students at Bristol will have access to cutting-edge facilities like the Bristol Centre for Supercomputing, the Centre for Doctoral Training in AI, and two National AI Research Hubs, as well as Isambard-AI, the most potent supercomputer in the UK.

This is a unique chance to work on real-world AI problems, attend a well-regarded university, and begin a fulfilling career in one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.
