For the 2025–2026 academic year, the University of Warsaw (UW) is offering 325 fully financed PhD slots in 26 scientific fields through its four specialized doctoral schools: Interdisciplinary Studies, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Exact and Natural Sciences. The Internet Recruitment of Candidates (IRK) program is accepting applications through May 29, 2025.
In addition to offering full tuition coverage, monthly stipends, and access to cutting-edge research facilities, the program covers a variety of research disciplines. A master’s degree (or its equivalent) in a related discipline and fulfillment of certain admission requirements are prerequisites for eligibility. International and Polish applications are also welcome. The outcomes of the selection process, which consists of oral interviews, written tests, and document verification, will be made public in July 2025.
