Digital solutions developed by inventors under the age of 26 are recognized globally with the WSA Young inventors Award 2025–2026. Projects that employ technology to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and have a good social impact are recognized with this award, which is organized by the World Summit Awards (WSA). Apps, websites, games, SMS tools, wearable technology, and other mobile and web-based solutions are all welcome for this award, which is open to startups, students, entrepreneurs, and project teams. Products that have been fully launched must be entered. WSA has promoted ICT for development and local innovation since its inception in 2003 under the UN WSIS. With a global network spanning more than 182 nations, WSA emphasizes how powerful, socially conscious technology can change lives and communities.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Young people from all UN and UNESCO member states are eligible to participate in the WSA Young Innovators initiative, which provides chances for individuals, NGOs, companies, social entrepreneurs, and students.
- Entrepreneurs, businesses, student organizations, or project teams are all eligible to participate, provided that the majority of the team and at least one founder member are under 26 years old (born on or after January 1, 1999).
- Drafts, ideas, or incomplete projects won’t be allowed; all entries must be fully launched products.
- Solutions must respect human rights principles and be in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN.
- Content that encourages racism, violence, fraud, or discrimination will not be accepted.
- WSA national specialists must submit nominations, and there is no fee to do so.
