Applications for the 2025 Global Development Conference (GDC) are now being accepted. From October 28 to October 30, 2025, this fully financed international conference will take place in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Participants from all around the world are welcome to attend the three-day event.
Full sponsorship, which includes conference access, lodging, and airfare, will be awarded to the chosen candidates. Journalists with a scientific background are especially encouraged by GlobalDev to attend GDC 2025, take part in scholarly research projects, and have conversations about issues related to global development.
The Global Development Network organizes and provides all funding for the meeting. More information is given below.
Eligibility Criteria :
Journalists from every nation are welcome to apply.
The following will be given priority:
- Female journalists
- Journalists from LMICs (low- and middle-income nations)
- People from underrepresented or underserved communities
- Candidates must be able to attend the October 28–30, 2025, conference.
