The Royal Society University Research Fellowship 2025–26, a distinguished program for exceptional early-career scientists, is currently accepting applications. Up to £1.87 million is given to fellows during an eight-year period; continuance is evaluated in the fourth year. Eligibility Criteria :
- By the application deadline, candidates must have completed their PhD and have three to eight years of research experience (not including career pauses).
- Candidates cannot be employed by large universities or non-profit research organizations in permanent academic or research roles, including proleptic or rolling contracts.
- The Royal Society University Research Fellowship, which funds independent study and team leadership, cannot be held by an applicant before.
