The African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER are co-hosting the 2025 Online Capacity Building Training to empower young women and men across Africa. This fully virtual program focuses on key areas such as STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, with a special emphasis on gender-responsive education. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of female teachers in delivering STEAM and digital skills. Organized by the African Union CIEFFA—a specialized AU institution promoting gender equality in education—and ImpactHER, a non-profit supporting African women entrepreneurs, this initiative provides participants with essential skills for personal and professional growth. This guide outlines the eligibility criteria and application steps for interested candidates to successfully apply for this impactful training opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Must be an African woman or man.
- Should demonstrate strong motivation to learn digital skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
- Must show leadership potential, ambition, and a commitment to advancing girls’ and women’s education.
- Must have reliable internet access and a device such as a laptop, computer, smartphone, or tablet.
- Should have a good command of at least one of the training languages: English, French, or Portuguese.
- Must hold African citizenship, whether residing on the continent or abroad.
