Discover Canada Alberta 2026 Cultural Exchange Program (Fully Funded)

The Discover Canada Alberta 2026 Cultural Exchange Program is now accepting applications. This four-day program, which runs from May 26 to 29, 2026, is completely funded. You can apply without taking the TOEFL or IELTS.

Western Canada’s Alberta is well-known for its stunning mountains, pristine natural settings, national parks, and track record of successfully hosting major international events. Cities like Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis have developed into thriving cultural hubs that draw diplomats, scholars, and visitors.

World leaders from a variety of countries gathered at Kananaskis, Alberta, in 2025 for the 51st G7 Summit.

The program’s goal is to unite people from all around the world in order to foster cultural understanding between Canadians and foreign participants.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Open to applicants worldwide
  • English language skills required (no certification needed)
  • Prior travel experience is an advantage
    Genuine interest in Canadian culture and history
  • Social media presence is a plus (especially for photographers, videographers, travel bloggers, or content creators — but not mandatory)
  • No academic or professional background restrictions

Canada is the host nation.

Dates of Travel: May 26–29, 2026

Location: Kananaskis, Calgary, and Banff, Alberta, Canada

Participants: thirty people
