More than 400 researchers have been supported by the CSEAS Visiting Research Fellowship since 1975, promoting interdisciplinary, comparative, and internationally focused research on Southeast Asia. Eligibility Criteria:
- Usually under 65, the candidate should be a well-known, accomplished scholar with a solid academic reputation.
- must not be enrolled in any postdoctoral or graduate programs at the moment.
- Specifically, the librarian-focused fellowship post is open to experienced librarians.
- Before reapplying, former CSEAS fellows must wait at least six years.
- Applications are encouraged from professionals in a variety of areas, including government, media, NGOs, IT, and others.
