The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is now accepting applications for the 2026 AIMS Scholarship from qualified and motivated candidates. This prestigious program provides full tuition coverage, along with bursaries for accommodation and living expenses, ensuring students can focus entirely on their studies.
AIMS is dedicated to developing a strong foundation in essential problem-solving skills, including estimation, computation, approximation, modeling, data analysis, and statistics. During the elective review phase, students can apply these skills in diverse and innovative areas of science.
Selected Master’s degree candidates will pay no registration fees and will receive a comprehensive scholarship package covering tuition, meals, accommodation, and travel expenses, making it a fully funded academic opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates must have a four-year university degree in mathematics or any other science or engineering field with a substantial mathematical component, or anticipate obtaining one by the start of AIMS training.
- Strong leadership, math, and community service abilities must be shown in the candidate’s record.
- Applications from women are highly welcomed.
