The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2026 is currently accepting applications, providing fully financed opportunities for international students worldwide. While both MPhil and Bachelor’s degree holders are eligible, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) may apply straight for PhD programs. In a variety of subjects, including science, medicine, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences, and business studies, the fellowship is offered at the top eight universities in Hong Kong. All living and educational costs will be covered by the over 300 awards that will be given out. Benefits :
- Annual Stipend: USD $43,690 per year.
- Travel Allowance: USD $1,820 per year for conferences and research-related travel, available for up to three years.
- Additional Support: Candidates requiring more than three years to complete their PhD may receive further funding, subject to the policies of their host universities (details to be confirmed directly with the respective institutions).
