Outstanding students from low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations have the option to study a master’s degree at prestigious UK universities with full funding under the Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships 2026. This initiative, which is supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), helps talented people and mid-career professionals who cannot afford to study overseas.
Future leaders, innovators, and changemakers who will support sustainable development, peace, and prosperity in their native nations are the target audience for the scholarships. More than 30,000 scholarships have been given out since 1960, and prominent graduates include Nobel Laureates, prime ministers, researchers, ambassadors, and world leaders.
Six main themes—including science and technology for development, bolstering health systems, crisis management, global prosperity, fostering peace and security, and opportunity access—are used to provide Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships. Additionally, scholars get access to the Commonwealth alumni network, which connects them to a global community of professionals and leaders for the rest of their lives.
With the scholarship, students may concentrate on their studies without worrying about money because it covers all living expenses, travel costs, and tuition fees. By enrolling in this program, scholars support sustainable growth and development in their home countries in addition to receiving a degree from a renowned UK university.
