The Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships 2025-26 offer an outstanding opportunity for both domestic and international students to pursue Master’s or PhD degrees at the University of Melbourne, one of Australia’s most prestigious institutions. These fully funded scholarships, including the Melbourne Research Scholarships and the Australian Government RTP Scholarships, cover almost all academic fields and research areas. The duration is 2 years for Master’s programs and 3.5 to 4 years for PhD programs. Eligibility Criteria :

  • Open to both Australian citizens and foreign applicants globally, there are no limits based on nationality.
  • must apply for and fulfill the prerequisites for a University of Melbourne graduate research program.
  • Current students who are enrolled in Melbourne’s graduate research program are also qualified.
  • A completed bachelor’s degree (16 years of schooling) or its equivalent with at least 75% marks is required for Master’s/MPhil (by research) programs.
  • A completed master’s degree (18 years of schooling) or its equivalent with at least 75% of the possible points is required for a PhD.
  • must exhibit a good aptitude for research.
  • Applicants should be in good health
  • English must have been used to complete the last degree.
