France offers a fantastic opportunity! The MOPGA Fellowship 2026 in Paris, which stands for “Make Our Planet Great Again,” is currently accepting applications. The initiative, which is currently in its ninth edition, aims to bring 60 early-career academics from around the world to France to undertake research. The French Ministry for Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, in collaboration with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, provides all funding for the MOPGA Visiting Fellowship 2026, which is overseen by Campus France. Selected fellows will work on research topics pertaining to important sustainability and environmental issues, supporting international initiatives in ecological innovation and climate action. Eligibility Criteria :
- Eligibility: All applicants, with the exception of those from France, may apply.
- Candidates of any nationality (other from French) may apply; there is no restriction on nationality.
- Number of Fellowships: There will be 60 fellowships given out in total.
- Citizenship Requirement: Candidates cannot be nationals of France.
- Academic Requirement: Within the last five years (thesis defense between December 2020 and December 2025), the candidate must be an early-career researcher with a doctorate.
- Candidates must not have spent more than ninety days in France between September 12, 2025, and December 12, 2025.
France is the host nation.
