Students pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees can apply for the scholarship through the Freshwater Ecology Lab’s graduate assistantship program. The chosen applicants will start their studies in the spring or fall of 2026 and work on topics including parasites in Daphnia-microbe systems and nutrient content in freshwater ecosystems. Eligibility Criteria :
- Be a self-sufficient, highly motivated person.
- possess a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in biology, ecology, zoology, or a closely related field.
- Have a strong work ethic, excellent writing and analytical abilities, and the capacity to interact and cooperate with a variety of teams.
- While not required, prior laboratory, field, or both research experience is preferred.
