Applications are currently being accepted for the 2025–2026 Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at the American University of Beirut (AUB). The goal of this fully sponsored program is to enable young leaders to become change agents in their communities, nations, and regions. Full tuition, housing, a laptop, travel expenses, and a monthly stipend are all covered by the scholarship. Recipients of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program get access to leadership development, practical fieldwork opportunities, and academic achievement. The program supports undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in collaboration with AUB, encouraging students’ creativity and social responsibility. Eligibility Criteria :
- They must be African nationals or refugees living in Africa.
- A solid academic record from prior coursework is required.
- must exhibit extraordinary ability and promise in spite of having little money.
- must demonstrate a strong dedication to volunteering in the community and making a positive impact on their nation or area.
- should be able to motivate change and have demonstrated leadership abilities.
- must be prepared to fully engage in all workshops and educational events that the Scholars Program hosts.
- The applicant must be 35 years of age or younger.
- must exhibit English proficiency for university studies (RUSE).
