Eligibility Criteria:
- A citizen of a developing or emerging nation (or, depending on the program, Eastern Europe) is required.
- demonstrated distinction in the classroom by earning a university degree.
- Demonstrated work experience or exceptional academic aptitude
- Religious affiliation, ideally Catholic or Christian; non-Christians need to receive a reference from a Catholic partner group and demonstrate an openness to interfaith discussion.
- German proficiency (minimum B1 level, or A2 for programs taught in English)

- Participating actively in community, religious, or social activities
