International students wishing to pursue postgraduate studies in China can now apply for the Zhengzhou University President Scholarship. This esteemed scholarship provides CNY 54,000 in living expenses, free housing, and complete tuition coverage annually. With more than 73,000 students, Zhengzhou University is one of the biggest universities in China and is listed in the Top 510 Best Global Universities. By encouraging exceptional foreign talent to study in China, the fellowship seeks to advance intellectual exchange and international collaboration. Both the March and September intakes are open to applicants. While the September intake is open from March 1 to June 15, the March intake is open from October 15 to December 15 of the preceding year.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must not be a citizen of China, be in good physical condition, and have no criminal history.
- must adhere to Zhengzhou University’s (ZZU) and the People’s Republic of China’s laws and regulations.
- should have a good academic foundation, a positive attitude toward learning, and the capacity to develop into a specialized researcher or expert.
- must not be enrolled in any Chinese university’s PhD program at the time of application.
- must be under 40 years old, have a stellar academic record in a master’s program (an 18-year master’s degree is required for Pakistani applicants), or have an equivalent certification.
- Candidates from non-English speaking nations are required to submit an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
China is the host nation.
