CALTECH University Summer Research Program 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

The Caltech University Summer Research Program 2026 is now accepting applications. Both U.S. citizens and international students are eligible for this fully paid 10-week internship. The program, dubbed the Crown Jewel of Caltech University, gives participants the opportunity to work on research projects at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) under the guidance of seasoned mentors. Students from all around the world are welcome to apply, and there is no application fee. With more than 85% of applicants being placed, the Caltech SURF Program has a high success record. Applying is strongly recommended for first-time candidates. All participant costs will be covered by the program; further information about eligibility and the application procedure is given below.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Both foreign students and U.S. citizens are welcome to enroll.
  • Applications are only accepted from undergraduate students.
  • Candidates must exhibit a solid academic background and a sincere interest in the field of study they have selected.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required.
  • Students in high school are not qualified for this program.

The United States of America is the host nation.

California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is the host institution.

Ten weeks is the program’s duration.

Start of Program: Mid-June

Financing Coverage: Completely Funded
