The RIPS Summer Internship 2026 in the USA is now accepting applications. The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) will host this fully financed program. Undergraduate and recent graduate students from all over the world are encouraged to apply for RIPS, short for Research in Industrial Projects for Students. The program’s objective is to give participants the opportunity to collaborate with industry mentors from both the public and private sectors on real-world research projects. Interns will look into certain issues, carry out research, and present their results under the guidance of an academic mentor. There is no application cost, and the internship lasts for nine weeks. Eligibility Criteria :
- The RIPS-LA Internship is open to international students from all nations.
- Applications are open to undergraduate students.
- RIPS 2026 is open to recent graduates who received their degrees no earlier than December 2025.
- This program is not available to nationals of the United States.
- International students are qualified, regardless of whether they are studying in the United States or overseas.
- Candidates must be at least eighteen years old.
- Candidates must be recent grads or undergraduates.
The United States of America is the host nation.
Location of Internship: UCLA Campus, Los Angeles
The Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) is the host institution.
